Brynymor Press first opened its doors in 1953 on Brynymor Road, Swansea.
Ron Harper started the business and oversaw its running until his retirement.
His son Richard then took over the business and continued providing businesses in and around Swansea with varied print services and products.
This ledger shows jobs produced during 1965 for local clients such as Uplands RFC, Sketty Surgery and WHSmith for items such as forms, letterheads and postcards.
On the 9th October 2003, Brynymor Digital Limited was incorporated as a Limited Company with Companies House.
In 2019, Stuart Davies bought the business from Richard Harper, who was ready to retire after over 40 years in the business.
Having worked in the printing industry for over 20 years, Stuart brought some fresh ideas and immediately invested in new software and machinery.
With the addition of new experienced staff members, the business began to steadily grow its customer base in and around Swansea and South West Wales.
2023 marked BDP's 70th year in business. We felt this was a perfect opportunity for a full rebrand. Now trading as BDP Wales with a fresh look, the business moved to larger premises within Swansea Enterprise Park, Llansamlet.
With more space to grow, further investment in new printing and finishing equipment followed ensuring BDP Wales continues to meet the ever-changing demands of its clients.
This year sees BDP Wales expand with a new office in Llantrisant, a key milestone that reinforces our commitment to supporting clients across South Wales and strengthening our presence within the region.
This growth also sees experienced new team members joining the business, further enhancing BDP’s capability to deliver high quality design & print solutions to our clients.
